Today is the Sprog's last day of school, and she made a Christi Friesen inspired dragon for her teacher.
The Bunny (who we are fairly sure is a girl) is still in my bathtub.
There has been no peep from anyone claiming to be her owner. We were told by someone on the street backing ours that their neighbour had moved out that week and used to have a large brown rabbit - so the theory that we're going by now is that she's been turned loose.
People suck.
We've been taking her out for a run-about twice a day. Her favourite thing seems to be leaning against one of us & licking our arms.
Bunny kisses!
At this stage it looks like she'll be going to live with the Mother-In-Law. We don't want to take her to the SPCA as they're always far too busy at this time of year ('cos people suck) and we think this girl is quite old so she would probably be put down away. That's not going to be this bunny's fate, thankyouverymuch.
In other news, my mother decided that we NEEDED a cockatiel for Giftmas.
She arranged it all for us, all we had to do was pick him up.
This is Alfred.
He's hand reared, very friendly and has scissorbeak.
He's also the Husbands new best friend.
The cat, needless to say, is not happy.
